Dr.
Donelle
Rasmussen is the
newest
member
of the
Palomar
Chiropractic
team.
She graduated
from
Southern
California
University
of Health
Sciences
in Whittier,
California
in 2006.
She holds
degrees
of Doctor
of Chiropractic,
Master
of Acupuncture
and
Oriental
Medicine,
and a
Bachelor
of Science
in Athletic
Training
from
San Diego
State
University.
She also
is Board
Certified
and a
licensed
Acupuncturist.
Her
primary
mission
to
help
as
many
people
as
possible
without
the
use
of
harmful
drugs
and
needless
surgery,
utilizing
the
skills
she
learned
as
an
Eastern
and
Westerner
practitioner.
A
native
of
San
Francisco,
Dr.
Rasmussen
was
introduced
to
Chiropractic
early
in
her
life. Playing
sports
throughout
her
high
school
years,
the
healing
effects
from
Chiropractic
treatments
allowed
her
to
remain
active
and
overcome
injuries
that
normally
would
sideline
most
athletes.
Still
an active
individual,
she
now enjoys
snowboarding,
biking,
hiking, swimming
and
gym
workouts.
Dr.
Rasmussen
is an
active
member
of the
American
Chiropractic
Association
and
California
State
Oriental
Medical
Association.
She
continues
to educate
herself
by taking
educational
seminars
on such
topics
as treatment
and
prevention
of sports
injuries,
nutrition,
core
stabilization,
and
rehabilitation
of musculo-skeletal
dysfunction.
Dr.
Rasmussen
believes
in educating
her
patients
so that
they
are
able
to make
informed
decisions
with
regard
to their
health
and
health-related
problems.
She
continually
stresses
the
importance
of Chiropractic
care
and
Acupuncture
treatments
as a
natural,
drug-free
approach
to maintaining
good
health
and
preventing
disease.
