Dr. Donelle Rasmussen is the newest member of the Palomar Chiropractic team. She graduated from Southern California University of Health Sciences in Whittier, California in 2006. She holds degrees of Doctor of Chiropractic, Master of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, and a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from San Diego State University. She also is Board Certified and a licensed Acupuncturist.

Her primary mission to help as many people as possible without the use of harmful drugs and needless surgery, utilizing the skills she learned as an Eastern and Westerner practitioner.

A native of San Francisco, Dr. Rasmussen was introduced to Chiropractic early in her life. Playing sports throughout her high school years, the healing effects from Chiropractic treatments allowed her to remain active and overcome injuries that normally would sideline most athletes. Still an active individual, she now enjoys snowboarding, biking, hiking, swimming and gym workouts.

Dr. Rasmussen is an active member of the American Chiropractic Association and California State Oriental Medical Association. She continues to educate herself by taking educational seminars on such topics as treatment and prevention of sports injuries, nutrition, core stabilization, and rehabilitation of musculo-skeletal dysfunction.

Dr. Rasmussen believes in educating her patients so that they are able to make informed decisions with regard to their health and health-related problems. She continually stresses the importance of Chiropractic care and Acupuncture treatments as a natural, drug-free approach to maintaining good health and preventing disease.
